Current Political Situation in Pakistan
The current political situation in Pakistan is very confusing. Parliament is divided into two parts, one supports the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while other group is on the side of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf's Chairman Imran Khan. All of this started last year after elections on May 11th 2013.
As a result of Elections held on 11th May 2013, Pakistan Muslim League Noon (PMLN) got the most seats in Parliment but PTI's Chairman Imran Khan said that the elections were unfair. Imran demanded recounting of votes in 4 constituencies. Imran kept chasing the Government for a whole year but Government didn't took any action. In July Imran strictly demanded recounting of votes in 4 constituencies. In that time Dr. Tahir-Ul-Qadri, A Religious Scholar and Founder of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), came to Islamabad from Canada but his flight was diverged towards Lahore. At this PAT protested in Lahore and 11 people were killed by police. Tahir-Ul-Qadri demanded FIR against people responsible for death of 11 people including Prime Minister, Chief Minister Punjab and Federal Minister of Railways but Government resisted against any Lawful action on behalf of 11 murders. As a result of these consequences both Imran Khan and Tahir-Ul-Qadri announced to start Azadi and Inqalab march respectively from Lahore to Islamabad.

Well the author's personal opinion is that if Government would have recounted the 4 constituencies then there would be no protests and peace would be prevailed. And it was the most basic mistake Government made. After that Government involved Army, and still PM said that Government haven't asked Army, this caused more confusion. I also condemn the attack of protesters on PTV because whatever it maybe still the protest should be done peacefully.
Another important topic in our politics nowadays is that ''Is the sit-in protest allowed in Law and Constitution?''. The answer to this question is Yes. According to the Article 2 (Objective Resolution) of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan
''Wherein shall be guaranteed fundamental rights including equality of status, of opportunity and before law, social, economic and political justice, and freedom of thought, expression, belief, faith, worship and association, subject to law and public morality.''So according to Article 2 of constitution which is considered as a base of Constitution shows that everyone in the country have freedom of expression. But this expression should not be done in violent ways. Only Peaceful protest should be done.
